A Technical Support Specialist serves as the primary liaison between Doral Health & Wellness users and the information technology (IT) department. The key responsibilities encompass addressing user inquiries through various communication channels, assisting users in configuring their computer systems, and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
The ideal candidate should possess an Associate's degree in information technology along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
Key Responsibilities for Technical Support Specialist
- Efficiently manage Help Desk tickets
- Install and maintain PCs, printers, tablets, and desktops
- Address customer inquiries via phone and email
- Assist in setting up new computers and onboarding new users
- Provide both remote and on-site technical assistance
- Troubleshoot and configure printers
- Repair hardware and software issues in collaboration with vendors
- Follow up with users to confirm resolution of issues
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A+ Certification or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer designation is preferred
- Must have access to a vehicle
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support environment
- Willingness to work on-site
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve fundamental technical issues
- Familiarity with Local Area Network (LAN) implementation
- Experience with SonicWALL is advantageous
- Capable of working collaboratively as well as independently
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required
