Job Overview

OnSite Energy Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team as a full-time employee.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing residential and commercial photovoltaic (PV) and battery storage systems, wiring and terminating connections, and testing equipment.

This role requires excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate installation projects, including reviewing project details and organizing installers and electricians
  • Supervise installation teams, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met, and troubleshoot electrical equipment and components
  • Interconnect solar inverters and battery storage systems to utility services, test and commission equipment, and program online monitoring systems
  • Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management on scheduling and job status
Requirements
  • Valid journeyman electrician license in the State of Montana
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the National Electric Code with respect to PV systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical equipment, components, and circuits
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Montana to perform installations
  • Previous experience in the solar industry preferred
