Job Title: Administrative Coordinator

Location: Montana State University, Inc.

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the Center for American Indian & Rural Health Equity (CAIRHE). The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the grant managers and Core directors, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, excellent communication skills, and experience with budgeting and event coordination. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with administrative duties, including project purchasing, accounting tasks, and budgeting functions.
  • Cordinate events, travel arrangements, and post-travel documents.
  • Manage budgets for CAIRHE grants and rural research projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Indigenous communities.
  • Knowledge of Community-Based Research.
  • Event coordination experience.

Aptitude for Problem Solving and Facilitating Work:

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing them to establish cooperative relationships with various constituencies, including students, administrators, coworkers, and faculty.
