Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at the University of Texas at Dallas. As a key member of our Student Health Center, you will provide advanced paraprofessional patient care and nursing services to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, comfortable, and effective treatment and care to patients requiring specialized nursing services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved Vocational Nursing program.
  • Current license to practice as a Vocational Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • At least one year of experience as an LVN or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current Texas license in good standing with the Texas BON.
  • Two years of vocational nursing experience.
  • BLS Certification required.
