">Ness Automotive seeks an experienced Commercial Vehicle Customization Expert to join our team. As a key member of our upfitting team, you will play a crucial role in transforming commercial vehicles into customized, specialized trucks tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Perform installations, modifications, and repairs to transform commercial vehicles according to client specifications and industry standards.
- Install and integrate various upfitting components, including ladder racks, shelving systems, toolboxes, lighting systems, electrical wiring, safety equipment, and other customizations.
- Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of client requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the upfitting process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care and use of tools and equipment.
Requirements:
">- Background in automotive repair / accessory installation
- Must have own tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in vehicle installations, modifications, and repairs.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools commonly used in the upfitting industry.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including wiring, connectors, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to vehicle upfitting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
