About the Role:

The Phlebotomist II represents the face of ICONMA to patients who come in for medical testing. This role involves drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draw blood samples from patients in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
  • Prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
  • Have direct contact with patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.

Requirements:

  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
