Strength and Conditioning Coach

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our team at Augusta University. As a key member of our athletic department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sport-specific athletic performance programs for all university teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strength, speed, and conditioning programs for all athletic teams
- Evaluate incoming student-athletes to determine training and safety needs
- Provide education on proper sports nutrition, hydration, and physical recovery strategies
- Schedule and supervise team training sessions, and instruct student-athletes on proper technique
- Interact with head coaches to design sport-specific programs and report performance progress
- Communicate with sports medicine staff and administrators on student-athlete wellness and rehabilitation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Three years of experience training athletes in strength, conditioning, and agility
- NSCA (CSCS or CSCCA) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree from an accredited college or university
