Position Overview:

This position is responsible for executing educational programs aimed at enhancing product knowledge and therapy awareness among Healthcare Providers (HCPs). The role involves identifying and collaborating with HCPs to elevate educational initiatives, promote the effective application of therapies that yield significant health benefits, and provide guidance on the safe and effective use of Boston Scientific technologies.

The Clinical Education Facilitator will possess in-depth knowledge of Boston Scientific's Electrophysiology product line, including but not limited to the VersaCross RF Transseptal Solution and FARAPULSE Pulsed Field Ablation System. This individual will train HCPs on the proper and effective use of these technologies in patient management. The facilitator will collaborate with professional education and sales training teams to enhance hands-on training methodologies and resources, significantly impacting the customer experience during and after training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

⦁ Deliver hands-on training in both clinical and non-clinical environments for physicians and operating room staff, adhering to established protocols.

⦁ Conduct educational sessions as necessary.

⦁ Collaborate with regional sales, education, and marketing teams to create tailored learning pathways for the adoption of Boston Scientific products.

⦁ Evaluate HCP needs and training requirements in alignment with organizational goals.

⦁ Develop comprehensive knowledge of therapies and procedures through participation in educational programs, case observations, scientific conferences, advisory forums, and team meetings.

⦁ Assist in defining the approach, scope, and methodology for HCP training to maximize effectiveness by considering target audience, timing, location, and other relevant factors.

⦁ Contribute to the creation of educational materials to support HCP training and development.

⦁ Oversee program logistics, including product and resource management, field support, and maintenance of training tools and materials.

⦁ Engage with identified HCPs and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to demonstrate the clinical advantages of Boston Scientific technologies and therapies, sharing clinical, technical, and safety information based on approved indications.

⦁ Establish a tracking system for training simulators to ensure proper maintenance and availability.

⦁ Conduct evaluations of training content and instructors, staying informed of changes that may affect training needs, and implementing necessary updates to training protocols and resources.

⦁ Familiarize yourself with digital educational content and provide insights to the EDUCARE team regarding customer requirements.

⦁ Promote HCP training programs effectively within the organization and externally.

⦁ Build relationships with HCPs and field personnel through active participation in training programs, case observations, conferences, and other engagements.

Qualifications:

⦁ A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

⦁ At least 4 years of experience in clinical training is necessary.

⦁ Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while communicating effectively with colleagues and management.

⦁ Proven capability to adapt training methods to accommodate various learning styles and modalities.

⦁ Willingness to travel up to 70% for scientific conferences, hospitals, training facilities, and other relevant locations.

⦁ Ability to lift and transport large equipment (up to 60 lbs).

Preferred Qualifications:

⦁ Experience in cardiovascular clinical or technical roles, particularly in Electrophysiology or Cardiac Rhythm Management, is highly desirable.

⦁ Excellent interpersonal skills to foster cross-functional collaboration for the success of the product line.

⦁ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
