Job Title: Tissue Culture Technician II

PharmaCann LLC is a leading cannabis-based products company with operations in multiple states. We are seeking a highly skilled Tissue Culture Technician II to join our team in a production-oriented laboratory setting.

Job Summary:

The Tissue Culture Technician II will be responsible for completing production-oriented tasks within the Tissue Culture Lab. These tasks involve basic laboratory processes and meeting productivity quotas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sterile technique and laboratory experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow direction from leadership to complete daily tasks, including but not limited to those listed below
  • Apply a sterile technique to propagate tissue culture material using tweezers and a scalpel
  • Use tweezers and a scalpel to root tissue culture material
  • Log all tissue culture work and data as required
  • Prepare tissue culture media and other necessary supplies
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning responsibilities
  • Work efficiently
  • Maintain a culture of professionalism
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Trimming and/or production experience is a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge of sterile technique is a plus, but not required
  • Laboratory experience is a plus, but not required
  • Deadline-oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Focussed and efficient
  • Flexible and adaptable
Working Conditions:
  • Able to use hand tools and computers for extended periods
  • Able to sit for extended periods
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Able to move about a typical office, laboratory, manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment, including the use of stairs
  • Able to perform general office activities
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Regular and on-time attendance
  • Hours occasionally exceed 40 hours per week
  • Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle, and the like within the region and to other locations as required
