Position Overview:

The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) plays a pivotal role in our innovative customer engagement model, striving to fulfill Bristol Myers Squibb's vision of being the leading BioPharma in meaningful interactions with Health Care Providers (HCPs). This role is essential in promoting the adoption of both new and established therapies among suitable patients.

The TAS is responsible for generating demand for Bristol Myers Squibb's portfolio of medicines, ensuring that HCPs receive a distinctive Customer Experience (Cx) through in-depth scientific discussions that align with product labeling and utilize advanced engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Promotion: Effectively promote approved indications of Bristol Myers Squibb products within a designated territory, aiming to meet or surpass sales objectives while adhering to compliance standards.
  • Scientific Engagement: Maintain a high level of scientific knowledge across all assigned products and therapeutic areas, ensuring accurate and balanced communication with HCPs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various internal teams to enhance the overall Customer Experience (Cx) for HCPs, sharing insights and information to better serve our customers.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the cardiovascular field is essential.
  • A relevant advanced scientific degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare landscape.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology and data analysis to inform strategic engagement with HCPs.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation for this position ranges from $112,000 to $135,000, complemented by incentive opportunities based on eligibility. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision care, along with various well-being programs and financial resources.
