Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist Outpatient Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for conducting color flow echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and other non-invasive procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct color flow Doppler echos following established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct stress echos according to established protocols and procedures.
- Assist cardiologists in transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) procedures.
- Submit echocardiograms at the highest quality possible, well within the appropriate time span.
- Identify and conduct echos without delegation, as well as other non-invasive testing such as EKG and Holter.
- Be proficient in the use of all medical equipment, including EKG and EEG machines.
- Recognize and report equipment malfunctions, and maintain safety standards at all times.
- Perform routine office tasks, such as answering phones, checking-in patients, and obtaining previous reports/films.
- Participate in the performance improvement program and demonstrate the ability to work and communicate with all members of the practice team.
- Conduct other non-invasive procedures and recognize abnormal echo findings, communicating any life-threatening situations to the appropriate personnel.
- Coverage rotation to other outpatient offsites may be required, and duties and hours may change according to the needs of the offsite practices.
- May be required to work holidays, overtime, and/or day, evening, and overnight shift coverage to maintain adequate and safe coverage for the outpatient facility.
- Graduate from an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program.
- Registered cardiac ultrasound technologist preferred or ARDMS or CCI certification.
- Two years' experience conducting echocardiograms.
- Experience in other non-invasive procedures.
- Successful completion of orientation program according to department guidelines.
