Job Summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a skilled Crane Operator 2 to join our team. As a Crane Operator 2, you will be responsible for safely operating mobile cranes to lift, move, and position loads. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position loads in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is properly maintained.
  • Work effectively with riggers and site supervision to determine required load movement.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-5 years of experience operating mobile cranes.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Regulations and ANSI standards in crane operations.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CDL Class A license.
  • NCCCO, TSS, TLL, LBC certifications.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Technical skills and functional skills.
