Job Description

We are seeking experienced Lattice Boom Crane Operators to join our team in Kentucky. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes on bridge construction sites.



Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • A minimum of 6-10 years of crane experience
  • A valid driver's license with a 5-year clean record
  • A valid NCCCO Crane Certification and Medical Card
  • An accident-free operation record
  • The ability to read, speak, and write English fluently
  • Knowledge of rigging and crane signaling
  • The ability to read and interpret crane load charts
  • The ability to prepare and implement load/lift plans
  • Experience in assembling and disassembling cranes and booms
  • Experience in steel pile driving, hoisting rebar/concrete/forms, setting concrete and steel bridge beams, and installing/removing sheet piling with a vibratory hammer


Work Environment

As a Lattice Boom Crane Operator with SCOTT & MURPHY, INC., you will be working on various bridge construction projects in South, Central, and Western Kentucky. You will need to be willing to travel to project sites and may be required to stay overnight occasionally.
