Senior Semiconductor Process Engineer

In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and sustaining process technology for MACOM's internal semiconductor fab. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new process technologies to enhance product performance and yield.
- Continuously improving existing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Sustaining existing process technologies to ensure consistent quality and reliability.
- Collaborating with Business Unit design teams and the Process Engineering team to drive process innovation and improvement.
You will be expected to contribute technically, maintain an optimistic and can-do approach, and present status to management. Excellent judgment, device physics, expertise in semiconductor processing, and project management are essential to success in this role.
The Ideal Candidate:- Will possess an expert knowledge of compound semiconductor processing and have a strong understanding of semiconductor device physics.
- Will have demonstrated success in program management, including the ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, anticipate bottlenecks, assign clear ownership, and manage a roadmap to schedule.
- Will be able to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
- Will remain industry-informed, familiar with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Will enjoy finding solutions to difficult problems.
- Candidate will have an M.S. plus 6 years or PhD plus 3 years experience in Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or similar Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of semiconductor fab experience.
- Due to ITAR regulations, candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
