Technical Support Specialist I- Elevity

As an Elevity Technical Services Engineer I, you will play a vital part in delivering cutting-edge IT strategy, security solutions, and support to our clients. This role requires a team player who can work seamlessly with other engineers and professional sales staff to provide responsive, professional, and highly-personable support.
Key Responsibilities
• Consult with Elevity management and senior level consulting engineers on technology solution decisions and provide applicable recommendations.
• Support diverse technology environments, including server, workstation, and general IT infrastructure needs of clients.
• Work out of Elevity Support Queues both remotely and onsite to resolve client technical issues.
• Generate detailed network and technical documentation.
• Perform internal and client-facing administrative tasks efficiently and reliably.
• Solve challenging technical issues through completion with senior level consulting engineers.
• Setup and troubleshoot server and desktop hardware.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Server and desktop Operating Systems.
• Install and administer Anti-Virus, Anti-SPAM, and backup software solutions.
• Work with the Elevity operations, project management, sales team, technology partners, and clients in a generalist capacity.
• Install and maintain network hardware and software.
• Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
• Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations partnering with senior engineers as needed.
• Complete company-provided trainings and certifications.
• Self-schedule service calls on site/remote as needed for managed clients.
• Complete monthly maintenance reports for assigned clients.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years Service Desk experience or 1-3 years of IT consulting experience (server, workstation, and network support).
• Experience with server and desktop hardware.
• Experience with Microsoft Server and desktop operating systems.
• Experience with Active Directory- User Administrations, DNS Administration, DHCP Administrations, Group Policy Administrations.
• Experience with antivirus, anti-spam, and backup software solutions.
• Knowledge of switching and routing technologies.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft O365 and Azure.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and work seamlessly with other engineers and professional sales staff.
• Ability to work technical issues through to completion with senior level consulting engineers as needed.
• Strong desire to invest the time and energy to grow technical skill set and knowledge.
• Ability to work with the professional Elevity operations, project management, sales team, technology partners, and clients in a generalist role.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle in order to travel regularly to clients within assigned market area and occasional travel to other markets.
• Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule in order to provide consistent client support.
