We are seeking a motivated Engineer in Training (EIT) who is eager to enhance their expertise and transition into a Project Management role. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in Department of Transportation (DOT), Heavy Civil, or Marine Construction.
About the CompanyOur client, a prominent engineering firm based in Connecticut, specializes in heavy and marine construction. They are currently looking for an EIT Field Engineer to contribute to significant bridge and tunnel projects.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize your experience in heavy civil and marine engineering to support various projects.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure project success.
- Engage in mentorship opportunities to prepare for future leadership roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in DOT, Heavy Civil Highway, or Marine Construction projects, particularly involving bridges and tunnels.
- EIT certification and a strong desire to advance to a Project Manager position.
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. A comprehensive benefits package is provided, which includes:
- Health, dental, and vision insurance.
- 401K retirement plan.
- Paid Time Off.
Please note that this is a fully in-office position, and candidates seeking remote or hybrid work arrangements may not be suitable for this role.
