Job Summary

Foster Farms is seeking a skilled Egg Collector to join our team at the Banner Rd. Breeder Ranch. As an Egg Collector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest-quality eggs are produced and collected from our poultry farms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather eggs from the farm, sorting them by size, cleanliness, and shape
  • Clean and stack eggs as needed
  • Empty trash and maintain a clean work environment
  • Change dip pans daily and clean waters
  • Walk floors and slats to find eggs and dead birds, gathering them onto flats
  • Help maintain and clean the ranch grounds
  • Clean ceiling lights and transfer eggs to other farms
  • Clean up the ranch between flocks, performing heavy lifting and operating a high-pressure washer
Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Capacity to walk 1.5 – 5 miles per day
  • Able to step into and out of the gathering pit numerous times each day
  • Able to bend over and pick up eggs from the floor
  • Must be able to climb a 12-foot ladder
  • Must have reliable transportation

We offer a competitive pay rate of $18.00 per hour, with additional pay for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm and 12:00am-4:59am.
