Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Grant Lead. This role will be responsible for planning and developing prevention, treatment, and recovery activities and initiatives within the State Opioid Response (SOR 3.0) Project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as liaison with statewide agency partners, stakeholder groups, and other entities to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Assist in developing long-range plans to build on a community system of care, including prevention, early intervention, treatment, and recovery support.
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with federal and state rules and regulations, administrative rules, department policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain required records and reports in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programs, including collecting and analyzing data, developing resource assessments, and informing office leadership on program-related matters.
  • Represent the SOR project at meetings, conferences, and trainings, and attend other meetings, workshops, conferences, and seminars as required.
  • Provide consultation and technical assistance to internal staff, stakeholder groups, and community organizations to aid in program implementation and reporting.
  • Manage data reporting on performance of state and location programs, using extensive knowledge of grant and fiscal requirements, and develop documents, tools, and other resources to support SOR programs.
  • Evaluate the implementation of grant-funded programs and purchases, funded projects, grant awards, request for proposals, and contracts, and develop request for applications, reviews programmatic and fiscal compliance, data collection and reporting, proposals, and bids.
Requirements
  • Completion of an undergraduate core program in a human services area, such as social work, psychology, or sociology, or 24 months of training or experience in coordination or development of alcohol and drug treatment and prevention services.
  • 12 months of experience in writing job-related technical reports and 6 months of experience in grants administration.
  • Expertise in infant and early childhood development, early childhood mental health, and working with diverse families with children diagnosed with severe emotional and/or behavioral disturbances and trauma is preferred.
