Director of Contact Center Operations

The Director of Contact Center Operations is a critical leadership role within NYC Health + Hospitals, responsible for driving operational excellence and delivering high-quality patient care. With an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, this position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of over one million New Yorkers.
Job DescriptionAs a key member of the Senior Director's team, the Director will assist in the leadership, coordination, and control of activities that impact operations of the Contact Center internal teams. This includes serving as a point person to Contact Center leadership on operational matters related to customer services, agent escalation requests, and coordinating with other H+H partners.
The Director will be directly responsible for all aspects of representatives' and specialists' operations, with a focus on patient experience, quality management, workforce management, recruiting, coaching, and training. They will collaborate with the Senior Director to coordinate strategic and result-driven goals, implement them, and follow through to improve the Contact Center performance, focusing on first-call resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Minimum 6 years of full-time experience in computer operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Broad knowledge of the latest technology relating to computers, operating system functions, and I/O controls
- Exceptional ability to develop and manage results-oriented recruiting and training programs
- Measurable experience in managing and growing satisfied accounts and/or relevant account management experience
