Position Summary

The role of the Field Operations Trainer is pivotal in ensuring that all new hires are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in a warehouse environment. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of Alchemy Manager, Player, Coach, and Playbook, serving as a subject matter expert in these areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct onboarding training sessions for new employees, including OSHA and safety protocols.
  • Facilitate classroom-based training for both new hires and existing staff, focusing on safety and operational procedures.
  • Perform regular observations of trainers and employees to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with operations and EHS teams to schedule annual refresher courses and cross-training initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate training records and generate reports to monitor training progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback to trainers while fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt to varying schedules, including first, second, or split shifts, to meet training demands.
  • Promote a culture of safety by ensuring comprehensive training in safety practices.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a training role within field operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, or 3PL is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver training on various subjects effectively.
