About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dedicated team at our manufacturing facility. This role involves a variety of responsibilities within the machining department, utilizing overhead jib cranes, ergonomic practices, and inspection tools.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring the quality of finished products through self-inspections.
2. Read and document measurements to confirm compliance with specifications.
3. Utilize overhead and jib cranes for lifting and transporting heavy components.
4. Move materials and parts using power lift trucks and fork trucks.
5. Adhere to all safety protocols and complete required safety training.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in machining or a related field.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, geometric tolerances, and finishes.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
