Job Summary: Join our team as an Event Service Specialist and play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience at our catered events. You will be responsible for providing top-notch service and ensuring that all guests enjoy their time at our events.

  • Deliver friendly and courteous service to all guests.
  • Present menus and daily specials, addressing any inquiries regarding food options.
  • Accurately take and process food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Assist in setting up and serving food and beverages at events under the guidance of the catering captain.
  • Retrieve food orders from the kitchen, ensuring presentation and accuracy.
  • Communicate special requests or modifications to the appropriate staff.
  • Prepare guest checks and handle payment transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the event area during and after events.
  • Assemble and deliver all necessary food and supplies to designated locations.
  • Monitor and log food temperatures to ensure safety.
  • Arrange tables and decorations according to event standards.
  • Return unused food and service items to the catering facility.
  • Stock and maintain cleanliness of the catering equipment and facilities.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu and available products.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Compliance with all safety and sanitation standards.
  • Valid food handler card and/or alcohol certification may be required.
  • Availability for flexible shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or related field is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing and walking, with the ability to ascend and descend stairs.
