Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and trucks, including oil changes, lubrication, and tire replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic systems, and perform other technical tasks as required.
  • Operate and test equipment to ensure it meets quality and efficiency standards.
  • Enter work orders and complete part ordering via fleet management system.
  • Assist in reconditioning and replacing parts of heavy equipment.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of warranties and maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports and repair logs.
  • Follow all company procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, and ability to read schematics.
  • Ownership of sufficient selection of hand and air/electric tools to complete most repairs and services.
  • Ability to operate and test equipment such as boom lifts, forklifts, compressors, portable and stationary generators, hydraulics, pumps, and assorted tools and equipment.
  • Computer skills to support entering information into systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
