Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

Fraser Engineering Company, Inc. is a leading mechanical contractor based in Newton, MA, with a rich history of delivering exceptional projects for over 70 years. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the planning, organization, and direction of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients, foremen, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with foremen to plan and direct construction projects
  • Ensure employees follow established rules and procedures
  • Establish project objectives, policies, and performance standards
  • Confer with foremen to discuss work procedures, complaints, and construction problems
  • Responsible for ensuring proper permits and licenses
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts
  • Monitor and control project progress to ensure timely completion and budget adherence
  • Investigate and implement corrective measures for potential issues
  • Represent the company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent
  • Four to ten years of related experience in mechanical systems
  • Proficient in construction software, Microsoft Office, and database maintenance
  • Valid Driver's License and 10 Hour OSHA Certification
