Essential Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn early childhood education standards.

- Strong communication skills reflecting professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute age-appropriate educational activities in line with established curriculum guidelines.
- Attend to the basic care needs of each child, including assistance with personal hygiene and daily routines.
- Support children's social development by teaching essential skills such as sharing and cooperation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare licensing regulations.
- Facilitate daily physical activities to promote gross motor skills, both indoors and outdoors.
- Complete necessary documentation, including attendance records and incident reports.
- Engage in parent-teacher discussions to foster strong relationships with families.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Center Director.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Frequent standing, bending, and occasional running may be required.
- Maintain a structured classroom schedule to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Commitment to working full shifts to uphold staff-to-child ratios, typically 8 hours with a 30-minute break.
Required Credentials:
- CDA, FCCPC, or a degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Preferred completion of 45 hours of DCF training.
- Credentialing is mandatory.
