About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and perform mammography procedures to ensure accurate and effective imaging results.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in mammography techniques and protocols to optimize patient care and safety.
  • Evaluate images for compliance with quality standards and ensure proper patient identification.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and education.
  • Perform routine quality control tests and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year American Medical Association-approved course in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • Certification in Radiography and Mammography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
