Job Title: Physical Therapist

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our inpatient and outpatient rehab team at our Woodlands Hospital. This is a supplemental position with a minimum shift expectation of 2 weekend days (Saturdays and/or Sundays) and 2 weekdays per 6-week period.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement original staff development programs to facilitate clinical competencies of other staff members.
  • Provide advanced physical therapy treatments and demonstrate competency in performing advanced physical therapy skills.
  • Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians, documenting appropriately in the medical record and completing other documentation duties accurately and efficiently.
  • Serves as a clinical resource to staff, hospital, and/or system or departmental committee/task force, and acts as a clinical instructor to PT and PTA interns.
  • Assists in supervision of support staff and actively participates in organized community service/functions as a representative of the profession.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based Physical Therapy program.
  • Current license to practice Physical Therapy by Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or by the Physical Therapy Compact Commission.
  • Demonstrates ability and willingness to mentor/train staff or supervise clinical interns/students.
