About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiatrist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a Physiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality, efficient care while creating exceptional experiences for every member of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document findings, progress, and provide instruction to patients and caregivers.
  • Provide recommendations and assist physical therapists and management team with program development.
  • Oversee the development, guidance, and training of assistants, students, interns, and rehabilitation technicians with regards to individual patient care.
  • Consider medical diagnoses established by qualified healthcare practitioners during the evaluation process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based Physical Therapy program.
  • Current license to practice Physical Therapy by Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or by the Physical Therapy Compact Commission.
  • Demonstrate ability and willingness to mentor/train staff or supervise clinical interns/students.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for hospital and/or system or departmental committee/task force or initiate and/or provide leadership in an ongoing departmental interest/study group.
