Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UC Engineer to provide expertise in the implementation and operation of a cutting-edge Cisco Unified Communications (UC) and Video Teleconference (VTC) solution. The role requires a strong understanding of compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) to maximize system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients on various tasks related to the Cisco UC/VTC solution, ensuring all operational components are effectively managed.
  • Deploy three (3) Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) 2ks across multiple data centers.
  • Install thirty-six (36) Shared Multiparty (SMP) licenses on the CMS platform.
  • Facilitate the integration of CMS with CMM (licensing only), VQ Conference Manager/DMA, and Cisco Expressways, enabling seamless meetings with video codecs.
  • Set up a web bridge to accommodate WebRTC users accessing via web browsers.
  • Maintain an active Secret Clearance throughout the duration of the project.
  • Upon completion of primary tasks, engage in additional UC/VTC-related responsibilities, including system documentation, operational guides, audits, and optimization of other Cisco UC/VTC applications as directed.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a strong background in Unified Communications technologies and hold an active Secret Clearance.
