Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Pharmacist to join our team at Specialty Rx in Columbus, OH. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, potential interactions, and proper administration.
  • Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medicines, with correct labeling and supply.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding medication-related queries.
  • Supervise the preparation of medicines and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacist license with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
  • Previous experience in Long-Term Care is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently, with strong multitasking and reliability skills.
  • Computer literacy, with knowledge of Frameworks LTC system and PLUS.
