Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed pharmacist to join our team. As a pharmacist with SpecialtyRx, you will be responsible for evaluating medication orders, ensuring accurate dispensing, and communicating effectively with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, potential interactions, and proper administration.
  • Ensure accurate dispensing and labeling of medications.
  • Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding medication-related queries.
  • Supervise the preparation of medications.

Requirements

  • Active pharmacist license with the OH Board of Pharmacy.
  • Previous experience in Long-Term Care is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Multi-tasking and reliability.
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of Frameworks LTC system.
