Optical Care Specialist

At EssilorLuxottica, we're committed to delivering exceptional eye care experiences to our customers. As an Eyecare Advisor at LensCrafters, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality optometric care.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional customer service, greeting patients promptly and answering phone calls in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Explain all required paperwork, tests, products, and services to patients, ensuring they understand their options and make informed decisions.
- Review prescriptions and patient information carefully, identifying special needs and consulting with Opticians, Managing Doctors, or Retail Management as necessary.
- Manage patient records, handling and filing documents in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Process contact lens orders, shipments, and invoices, operating the POS system with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their vision, lifestyle, and budgetary needs.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and optical products.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
- Organization and sales skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, and/or optical.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
