Parent and Family Support Specialist

Compensation: Hourly Rate

Key Responsibilities:

  • To contribute to the achievement of service and team objectives outlined in the business plan
  • To conduct comprehensive assessments of children, young people, parents, carers, and families in accordance with service guidelines
  • To design and deliver structured intervention programs for children, young people, parents, carers, and families in line with service guidelines
  • To maintain accurate and timely records of work, including progress notes and data entry as specified
  • To attend multi-agency meetings

Qualifications and Experience:

  • To hold 5 GCSEs at level A*-C (including English) or equivalent
  • A deep understanding of child development, effective parenting, and attachment theory
  • Experience in delivering group work in various settings

Important Notes:

  • Candidates should be available to start immediately or at short notice
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS check
