Clinical Orthopedic Therapist Specialist

As a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of orthopedic surgeons. Your primary responsibility will be to treat patients with diverse orthopedic conditions, including pre-op, post-op, and sports medicine cases.

Key Responsibilities- You will work closely with physical therapists to receive guidance and instruction on treating patients.
- Direct and assist patients in exercise programs, muscle re-education, and gait training.
- Administer physical therapy treatment using various modalities, such as heat, cold, hydrotherapy, massage, electrical therapy, and manual techniques.
- Document patient progress and bill according to established procedures.
- Provide patients and their families with education on proper care and use of supports and exercise programs.
- Supervise physical therapy aides in accordance with Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners rules.
- Develop and implement treatment programs in collaboration with physical therapists.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to infection control policies and protocols.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation and billing to support patient care and reimbursement.
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Texas.
- Able to perform frequent sitting, standing, walking, and occasional squatting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and crawling motions.
- Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds or more with or without mechanical aids.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of organizational and time-management skills.
- Well-groomed appearance and professional demeanor.
The estimated salary range for this position is $58,000-$79,000 per year. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer benefits that prioritize work-life balance, including flexible scheduling, CEU reimbursement, and incentive pay.
