About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Center Supervisor to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Center Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the general management of employees assigned to the production areas, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the plasma donation center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee employee performance and scheduling to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency
  • Lead Inventory Control efforts and operational initiatives to drive business growth and improvement
  • Work with donors to resolve concerns and provide exceptional customer service
  • Analyze opportunities for improvement in non-conforming events and implement corrective actions
  • Perform tasks for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas
  • Foster teamwork, communicate effectively, and resolve conflicts in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current license or certification in the state where duties will be assigned: Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1), Certified Phlebotomy Technician 2 (CPT2), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
  • Frequent bending and reaching
  • Ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds and occasional lifting to 50 pounds
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance
  • Pro-longed glove wear required due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
