Key Responsibilities:

  • Quarterly and Annual Audit Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Annual 1099 and 1042 Filings: Prepare and submit tax filings in a timely manner using a third-party service provider.
  • Tin Matching / B-Notices / Responses to IRS: Ensure accurate and timely responses to IRS inquiries.
  • Tax Withholding Registrations and Filings: Manage tax withholding registrations and filings for vendors and agents.
  • Manage Enterprise-Wide Master Vendor Listing: Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor information.
  • OFAC Compliance Reporting: Ensure compliance with Office of Foreign Assets Control regulations.
  • Agent Commission Responsibilities: Manage agent commission payments and related financial activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance: Possess a degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution.
  • 4-10 Years of Finance/Accounting Experience: Possess a minimum of 4-10 years of experience in finance or accounting with progressive responsibilities.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance Experience: Possess experience in property and casualty insurance, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Prior Supervisory Experience: Possess prior supervisory experience, preferably in a finance or accounting role.
  • Working with Offshore Team Members: Possess experience working with offshore team members, preferably in a finance or accounting role.
  • Proficiency in Workday: Possess proficiency in Workday, preferably in a finance or accounting role.
  • Excel Proficiency: Possess advanced Excel skills, preferably in a finance or accounting role.
  • Access Skills: Possess skills in Access, preferably in a finance or accounting role.
