Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee small to midsize crews, guiding and mentoring team members, assigning daily tasks, and providing support.
- Crew Management: Conduct daily meetings, manage attendance, maintain time-keeping records, and review daily logs.
- Training and Supervision: Supervise and train crew members, assess performance, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety protocols.
- Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Manager and on-site personnel to fulfill project requirements, ensuring effective management of schedules and logistics.
- Technical Oversight: Accurately read and interpret blueprints and specifications, overseeing concrete installation, finishing, and curing processes.
- Documentation: Maintain precise records of poured yardage and project documentation, manage material requests, and ensure a clean and organized job site.
- Client Relations: Represent the company professionally, fostering client relationships, and ensuring high standards of workmanship.
- Hands-On Work: Engage in or assist with concrete preparation, finishing, and patching, while operating and maintaining tools and equipment properly.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of concrete installation and finishing techniques, ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with construction tools and equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and ability to deliver high-quality work, with the physical capability to perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with technology in construction settings. Experience with software such as BlueBeam, ProCore, Trimble, and PlanSwift is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACI Certification and OSHA Training.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks typical in the concrete industry.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as necessary.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Must pass background checks, drug screening, and maintain consistent attendance.
