Job Overview

Strata Corporation is seeking a skilled Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck, transporting and unloading ready mixed concrete to customer job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a concrete mixer truck, ensuring safe and legal transportation of ready mixed concrete to customer job sites.
  • Attach and detach unloading extension chutes, and lift weights up to 65 pounds.
  • Perform daily truck maintenance, including DOT daily service inspections, fueling, greasing, and cleaning the mixing drum.
  • Ensure high standards of truck appearance and cleanliness, both interior and exterior.
  • Participate in safety efforts, including identifying and reporting unsafe conditions and/or safety policy violations.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
  • Participate in general plant and yard cleanliness and maintenance as directed by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Possess and maintain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or Class B with air brake endorsement.
  • Possess and maintain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Health Card.
  • Satisfactory driving and criminal record.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions (oral and written).
  • Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English.
  • Prefer at least one year of experience.
