Early Childhood School Social Work Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support the well-being and success of Early Childhood students in Illinois. In this role, you will work collaboratively with teachers and families to understand and address the unique needs of each student.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work and be licensed to practice in the State of Illinois. Previous experience in an Early Childhood setting is preferred, but not required.
As a School Social Worker with AnthroMed Education, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team and access a range of resources and clinical backing to help you succeed in your role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support to identified students in the Early Childhood setting.
- Manage a caseload of 43 students.
- Collaborate with another SSW in the building.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student well-being and success.
- Advocate for students' holistic welfare (social, emotional, academic).
- Cross-functional collaboration with teachers and families to understand how to best meet student needs.
- Provide push-in and pull-out services as needed.
- Develop and track interventions in order to understand IEP effectiveness.
