ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker for a full-time, onsite role in Crestwood, IL, for the 2024-2025 school year. This position offers a supportive work environment, competitive pay, and excellent benefits. Were looking to fill this role as soon as possible

Job Overview:

  • Location: Crestwood, IL
  • Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite Only
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: May 30, 2025
  • Age Group: Ages 2 - 21

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students aged 2-21 across multiple school locations within the district.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students, focusing primarily on elementary-aged children.
  • Offer crisis intervention and collaborate with school psychologists, counselors, and other support staff.
  • Travel between school sites as needed to deliver services and meet student needs.
  • Address the needs of students with IEPs, ensuring that appropriate interventions and supports are in place.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Illinois certification as a School Social Worker.
  • Valid drivers license required.
  • Acceptable qualifications include an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Social Worker (SW), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC).

Key Duties:

  • Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to assess students' academic and emotional needs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide referrals as necessary.
  • Work with community organizations to develop effective behavior management plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and interventions.
