Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our RF Sensors and Electronics Support team, you will be responsible for defining and specifying requirements for the next generation of EW sensors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain system requirements and architecture using model-based systems engineering tools.
  • Work with electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands) and collaborate with sensor providers/suppliers.
  • Define, specify, trace, and model requirements for EW sensors, ensuring alignment with system-level requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 9 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 7 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. AND 4 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years).
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).
  • Ability to travel 0-25%.
  • Experience with Electronics Warfare subsystem OR Experience with RF design.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 14 Years with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with Cameo, DOORs, Rhapsody, writing requirements, and tracing requirements through various levels.
  • Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands).
  • Knowledge of DoDAF and system scenarios.
