Job Summary

The Coordinator of Grants and Contracts plays a critical role in the University of Tulsa's sponsored programs office, ensuring compliance with federal funding agency regulations and university policies. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor programmatic, regulatory, and fiscal activities of externally sponsored programs
  • Manage programmatic fiscal reporting activities, including payment authorizations and financial statements
  • Oversee all fiscal aspects of sponsored projects, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Prepare and submit various reports for the university and external sponsors
  • Serve as liaison between university officials, principal investigators, staff, and funding agency representatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or at least 3 years of experience in a university sponsored program office
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal funding agency regulations, including 2 CFR 200 Uniform Administrative Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards
  • Training in research administration and/or certifications such as Certified Research Administrator or Certified Financial Research Administrator
