About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at HEI Hotels and Resorts. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition and functionality of our hotel facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances
  • Assist in checking and maintaining electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems
  • Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters
  • Maintain the building exterior and curb appeal, including snow removal, lawn care, and painting
  • Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms, including cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and counters
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a courteous and professional manner
Requirements
  • Vocational schooling, military training, certification, or experience in building-related trades, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
  • Hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and work in a variety of environments
