Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional I to join our team at Imagine the Possibilities Inc. As a key member of our HCBS Homes program, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and document goals and objectives for individuals served.
  • Act as an active advocate for individuals, promoting their choice and decision-making.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including transfers and lifting (up to 35 pounds).
  • Participate in activities of consumer's choice, such as church services, swimming, or bowling.
  • Provide support with physical demands, including prolonged walking and standing.
  • Drive and transport individuals as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age: 16 years (SCL) or 18 years (HAB).
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (HAB).
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Background checks with previous employers, references, and law enforcement agencies.

Compensation: $17/hour + depending on experience and education.
