**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the department-wide strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Design and develop a planning process that engages staff, incorporates metrics and attainable goals, and is communicated to all necessary stakeholders.
  • Oversee and lead the department's workforce development efforts, including conducting needs assessments and creating, maintaining, and monitoring the Workforce Development Plan.
  • Conduct research, develop, and maintain the Quality Improvement Plan for the department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions.
  • Develop and lead quality improvement projects, collaborating with staff to drive process enhancements and optimize performance.
  • Conduct strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analyses to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide training and support to staff on quality improvement principles and practices, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Develop communications plans for strategic planning, workforce development, and quality improvement processes and projects, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and buy-in.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to the assigned program or department.
  • Five (5) years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, Agile, or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).

**Special Requirements:**

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Pass pre-employment background checks, including criminal history, fingerprinting, and DMV checks.
