Position Overview

As a Process Improvement Analyst at Stella & Chewy's, you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving excellence across our production processes.

  • Data Reporting: Generate and provide comprehensive reports on workforce metrics to relevant departments.
  • Staff Scheduling: Optimize the scheduling of production personnel to ensure maximum efficiency across all production lines.
  • New Hire Evaluation: Manage and update the evaluation process for new employees as necessary.
  • Overtime Management: Coordinate overtime scheduling and adjust staffing levels in accordance with company policies and strategic objectives.
  • Cost Evaluation: Assess both direct and indirect labor expenses alongside material costs.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Lead and promote initiatives aimed at establishing and driving process enhancements.
  • Collaborative Workshops: Engage in Kaizen events, brainstorming sessions, and process mapping exercises to foster alignment and enhance performance.
  • Visual Workplace Creation: Develop a visually organized workspace utilizing advanced 5S methodologies and visual controls, while promoting key performance indicators across the plant.
  • Training and Development: Educate production supervisors and team leaders to cultivate a culture of employee engagement in problem-solving efforts to meet plant objectives.
  • Best Practices Implementation: Assist in the development and execution of industry best practices throughout the production environment.
  • Loss Analysis Execution: Oversee the implementation of loss analysis and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) improvement strategies.
  • Safety Performance Enhancement: Contribute to the enhancement of safety culture and performance through Lean methodologies.
  • Analytical Assessments: Conduct various analytical assessments including Choke Point Analysis, Mass Balance, Centerline, 5 WHYs, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Operations, Food Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), or similar continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
  • Positive and proactive approach to achieving objectives.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
