Residential HVAC Sales Consultant

Gold Medal is recognized as one of New Jersey's premier independent HVAC and Plumbing service providers, delivering exceptional products, services, and solutions to our clientele. We are currently seeking skilled Sales Consultants for our New Jersey locations. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for individuals with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience. While prior knowledge of HVAC systems is not essential, experience in In-Home Sales is required.

Our company is experiencing a surge in leads, and we need dedicated professionals to assist. There is no requirement for cold calling; our proficient Sales Assistants will set appointments for you.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide essential support to the Sales Department in the continuous development of both existing and potential Gold Medal customers, ensuring that the Sales department meets its defined monthly objectives and growth aspirations.

Role and Responsibilities

We are in search of experienced, driven sales professionals eager to excel within our expanding organization. Our sales consultants have the potential to earn substantial incomes, reaching into the six-figure range. The role will involve assessing customer requirements for HVAC systems, crafting sales proposals, closing sales, and following up with customers to guarantee complete satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver tailored solutions for customers' HVAC and home comfort requirements.
  • Engage with potential and existing clients to offer customized HVAC system solutions, including our exclusive maintenance program.
  • Lead the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct follow-ups post-sale to confirm all agreements have been fulfilled to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Follow up on existing sales bids and leads to provide additional information necessary for conversion into sales.
  • Address technical and business objections from prospective clients.
  • Highlight saleable features, pricing, and credit terms, and prepare sales orders for completed jobs.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Participate in various sales initiatives to support corporate objectives, including trade shows and referral groups.
  • Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends.
SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED): Required Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school): Preferred

Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of previous sales experience, ideally in In-Home Sales.
