Job Summary

This position plays a vital role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby Unit, and Antepartum Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you'll work closely with our birthing center team to provide a patient-centered birth experience, ensuring that every family receives personalized attention and support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, document, plan, implement, teach, develop, and evaluate comprehensive nursing plans of care for patients.
  • Deliver direct patient care, ensuring patient satisfaction and well-being.
  • Train and delegate duties for Nursing Care Technicians (Nursing Assistants).
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Knowledge of Maslow's eight Basic Human Needs and Gordon's Functional Health Patterns Framework.
  • Excellent direct patient care and critical thinking skills.
  • Basic computer navigation skills and working knowledge of the internet.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and physicians.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and delegation skills.
