We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU department at The George Washington University Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families in the PACU department.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current and valid DC RN license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in PACU/ICU/ED critical care nursing.
- BLS certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
