Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Mercy Hospital Washington. As a PACU Nurse, you will provide exceptional care to patients during the peri-operative process, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the PACU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in process improvements to enhance patient care and safety
  • Float between two facilities to gain diverse experience in peri-operative care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
  • Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
  • 2 years or more of Acute Care Experience
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
